Hi! I'm Grace.

 

I am an enthusiastic early-career screenwriter with a big interest in musicals and a passion for LGBT issues.

 

As a writer, I aspire to write across multiple platforms - television, film, podcasts, novels, and I even write musical analysis essays. My personal work predominantly features female centric mysteries, that deal with themes of loneliness, friendship, religion, and the boundary between what's real and what's imaginary.

My love for musicals and authentic storytelling is what drives me to write. I am a proud member of the LGBT community, and typically my stories reflect my own personal experience growing up as a socially isolated lesbian.

I keep up this blog because...well, because I'm going to write these essays anyway so I might as well put them somewhere nice. I love musicals, especially musical theatre, and despite living in Sydney I still manage to find ways to experience Broadway, albeit occasionally illegally.
