I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I work and live, Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, I and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. I pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.

I would also like to acknowledge our LGBTI elders, past and present.  I would like to express my gratitude for the recognition and acceptance of the LGBTI community experienced today and acknowledge the battles they have fought and our sorrow for the prejudices they have experienced in order for me to be where I am today.​
